RJW Overseas OPC Private Limited – The Magic of Spices
Indian spices have been celebrated worldwide for their unique quality and aroma for centuries. Yet today, as the son of a farmer from Uttar Pradesh (Prashant), I have witnessed how that respect has been cruelly lost. In the modern trade system, farmers’ hard work is often exploited, while they receive little fair compensation. Our precious spices, harvested from the fields, get trapped in a web of middlemen, losing their authentic flavor and vitality, reduced to mere commodities.
The Foundation of the Company
A Pledge at 18
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to leave the city and return to my village. It was the first time, at the age of 18, that I truly saw the immense effort farmers put into cultivating spices and the variety of crops they grow.
I realized that despite their hard work, farmers were not receiving fair value. Middlemen would buy the spices at low prices and sell them in the market with harmful chemicals, compromising purity. On that day, I made a firm resolution to do something for these farmers—to ensure they receive their full due and that pure spices reach the market.
Though I come from a farming family, I was raised in the city. Between the ages of 18 and 23, I learned a great deal from farmers, understood the intricacies of farming, and completed my education. Today, in 2025, I have founded RJW Overseas OPC Private Limited.
Company Name and Our Mission
My mother, Rajeshwari, was herself a farmer. I witnessed her lifelong dedication and hard work, learning firsthand the challenges farmers face.
RJW is named after my mother, Rajeshwari—a symbol of my strength, integrity, and inspiration. My goal has never been to sell the cheapest spices, but to offer the most authentic and ethical spices, transforming the industry along the way.
